Stretch marks can occur anywhere on the body, where the skin stretches. They occur when the lower layer of skin containing collagen and elastin, which give the skin its elasticity, is damaged by a rapid loss or weight gain, as is the case in pregnancy. The purple color of stretch marks is caused by the small blood vessels that are there and are made more visible by stretching the skin.

Dosage and instructions for use
Gently massage the abdomen, waist, thighs and chest, avoiding the nipple area. Do not apply to chapped or irritated skin. In case of irritation, stop using it and if irritation persists, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Pregnacare Cream can be used daily, during and after pregnancy.
